CROATIA: Multisport - guided
Imagine a place in between of the two Republics of the old - Dubrovnik and Venetia. You will spend your week exploring Dalmatian islands and bays. Great channel of Peljesac, the setting for the quest of dominance over Adriatic trade routes will be your home. Peljesac peninsula was the garden of Dubrovnik and was utterly coveted by Venetians for its noble red vine and ample food produce. On the other side, the island of Korcula, a medieval fortified beauty and the town of Marco Polo, controlled the channel for the Venetians. But medieval battles aside, the islands and the sea still retain the scent of more ancient adventures of the Greek hero Odysseus.
Smell thyme, sage and basil on trails only until recently used exclusively by locals, explore secluded beaches and get close to tradition. With bicycle, reach the best views over the islands, venture into vine cellars and reach the fishermen's abode - for the delicious fresh seafood and olive oil. Hop on a sea-kayak to get the taste of salt water and see the islands from the other side - the pirate's side. TrekTrek provides the best tools to immerge yourselves into historic, natural and cultural setting. Our multisport trip has versatility combined with thick adventure.
