  • WALKING


  • Easy: easy terrain with gentle climbs. Average daily hours of walking are 3 to 4 hours and maximum altitude difference is 600m (2000ft). These trips can be enjoyed by anyone who leads a reasonably active life.

  • Moderate: Some previous hiking experience is reccommended. Average daily hours of walking are 5 to 6 hours, with some longer ascents and descents. Maximum altitude difference we make is 1000m (3300ft). In some parts of the trail the rough terrain can be involved, but generally conditions underfoot will be fair.

  • Challenging: On average we walk 6 to 8 hours daily with altitude difference more than 1000m (3300ft). Steep gradients, rough conditions underfoot and also some climbing can be accepted. Regular exercise and a bit of preparation are important at this level.

  • None of the walks are extreme, they are all planned around time to sightsee and enjoy the scenery. If you have some questions or doubts about your physical condition request a more detailed programme or give us a call.

  • CYCLING


  • Easy: mostly flat terrain with some sloping hills possible. Paved village and countryside roads in general, some short sessions of gravel roads. Average daily distances ± 40 km (24 miles), maximum altitude difference 200 m (700ft). This trip can be enjoyed with reasonable fitness level and little biking experience.

  • Moderate: frequent sloping hills, and possibly steeper hills. Paved village and countryside roads, sometimes also gravel roads. Average daily distances ± 70 km (42 miles), maximum altitude difference 700 m (2300ft). This level is for people with regular seasonal biking experience and reasonable biking fitness.

  • Challenging: hilly terrain with some very steep hills. Besides paved village and countryside roads, frequent gravel roads and cart-tracks. Also single track possible. Average daily distances ± 70 km (42 miles), average altitude difference 700m (2300ft) and more. This level of cycling is for enthusiast bikers with good fitness level and regular biking frequency.

  • Note that none of the cycling is extreme and you do not need professional skills to enjoy our trips. Our guides have the coaching and repair skills to get you trough your experience.
